After a bit of a technology glitch, our blog is back up and running. Below, you will find the record of our early days. Enjoy!
Our first task after we unloaded all of our supplies, was to create tee-shirts that reflected our likes and interests. We have hung them on our bulletin board for all to see.
Below, you will see slides of our first STEM experience where students had to save Fred, a gummy worm, from his capsized ship, (plastic cup), place a gummy life preserver around him, and get him back into his righted boat. The hitch was that they could not touch Fred, the boat or life preserver with their hands- they could only use paper clips. Students worked together and successfully saved Fred!

We spent some time with Mrs. Aikins class to ask questions and find out a bit about our classmates. Students were surprised to learn new and interesting facts about their friends.
